This package provides the UML modeling API that enables UML diagrams to be created and modified.

Package Specification

A UML model file can contain diagrams which are based on the GMF notational meta-model (org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.notation). The API in this package enables clients to do the following with diagrams embedded in a UML model:

• create diagrams
• destroy diagrams
• open editors for diagrams
• create nodes (shapes) on a diagram
• create edges between nodes on a diagram
• destroy nodes and edges
• render a diagram to an image file
