This interface is used by the new model wizard to create model files from an existing model.

createExistingModelConfiguration

ExistingModelConfiguration createExistingModelConfiguration(org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile sourceModel)

Creates the existing model configuration for the given source model, to be populated by the wizard.

Parameters:

sourceModel - the source model to configure

Returns:

the existing model configuration to be populated by the wizard

createFiles

boolean createFiles(org.eclipse.core.runtime.IProgressMonitor progressMonitor,
                    ExistingModelConfiguration config)

Creates model files using the data from the given existing model configuration.

Parameters:

progressMonitor - the progress monitor

config - the existing model configuration data

Returns:

true if model(s) are created successfully, false otherwise
