Model RealTime BIRT Integration

Eclipse Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) is an open source Eclipse Platform-based reporting system.

To download BIRT Integration with Model RealTime, use the links birt-11.0-v20220124.zip or birt-11.1-v20220124.zip.

Each of the delivery zip files contains:

• birt-11.X-v<timestamp>_updatesite.zip - P2 update site.
• BIRT Installation Instructions 11.X.pdf - Step-by-step installation instructions.
• notices 11.X.txt - 3rd party licenses information.

Known Limitations

When you invoke View Report or Generate Document commands either from the main toolbar or Run menu, report generation will fail.

To view the report, use the BIRT Report Configuration and specify the location of the report design template, for example with following steps:

1. Open UML Development perspective.
2. Go to Project Explorer view, right-click on the .rptdesign file and select Report As -> BIRT Report command.
3. Please note that, the Location field in Report Configurations dialog should be pointing to the .rptdesign file.
4. After you configure the Report Data and the Report Output, click on the Report button to generate the report.
